Bearanoia™ addresses mental health concerns by supporting research in the photobiology, sensory ecology and integrative biology of bears, emphasizing seasonal and habitat adaptations. The Campaign seeks stress-reduction due to environmental factors and undue limitation of ‘natural’ conditions. Bearanoia relates the prevalence of stereotypical behaviors in different bear species, underscoring how important attention to the environment is for mental health.
Bearanoia™ encourages studies that focus on the impact of environmental factors to mental health, seeking to fund ZLI Endowments according to the ZLI Framework, as well as a PhotoDiversity media production to clarify its concerns.
